Counting is expected to begin today as over 1,140 envelopes have been returned for the Vocational Panels in the Seanad election.
The total electorate was 1,155 made up of TDs, outgoing Senators and councillors. The valid poll is 1,127 after 17 ballots were deemed invalid.
Counting will begin in the Cultural and Educational Panel this afternoon for which five Seanad seats are up for grabs.
