A search operation for an Irishman missing on Mount Everest has got underway.
It is understood that a nine man team will continue searching for Seamus Lawless who tragically fell during a descent last week.
According to The Himalayan Times, the search operation which got underway on Wednesday evening, will be led by Noel Hanna, who was part of Mr Lawless’s original climbing group.
The paper states that the rescue team will search the so called ‘balcony’ area from where Mr Lawless fell.
