Police said the body of a man found in Co Derry has been identified as that of missing Lee Johnston, reports Breaking News.
The search continues for a 21-year-old man from Coleraine who was reported missing a week ago.
A body was found in Maghera on Thursday.
Police said an autopsy confirmed the search for Johnston was over, reports Breaking News.
Chief Superintendent Michael O’Loan, Mid Ulster District Commander, said the death was not currently being treated as suspicious.
“Police can confirm that this is the body of the high-risk missing person Lee Johnston,” he said, reports Breaking News.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious at this time. Our thoughts today are very much with Lee’s family and friends as they mourn his loss,” he added, reports Breaking News.
