Search to resume this morning for missing 19-yr-old man feared to have fallen into the sea in Clare

The Irish Coast Guard is set to recommence its search for a missing 19-yr-old man who is feared to have fallen into the sea neary Quilty in County Clare.

At 11am yesterday morning, gardai were alerted to the fact that a young man had gone missing near the cliff face near Doolin.

The gardai contacted the Irish Coast Guard who immediately deployed troops from both Kilkee and Doolin to assist in the search for the missing man.

The search went on all day until light faded at 7:30pm. The Irish Coast Guard called off the search for the night and said that they’ll deploy units to the area this morning.

Troops will gather in the area at 10:30am this morning and the search will officially recommence at 11am.
