Gardai are this morning hunting for a man who made good his escape while in transit to a hearing yesterday morning.
According to reports, the man in his 20s, who is an inmate at Cloverhill Prison in Dublin, was being led to a holding cell at Bray Circuit Court when he evaded captivity and escaped through a door.
The Prison Service has launched an investigation into the matter.
