It is Sebastian’s favorite time of the year, and after today’s appeal by his loving parents, people from across the country have really come together to make the child’s day of wonders as special as it can be.

Sebastian’s terminally ill with cancer, and his parents have been told he only has weeks to live.

They wanted to give him a last Christmas day before the dreadful end, and offers of help and support have come thick and fast.

The child’s uncle said that the family are “overwhelmed” by the display of generosity today.

The little toddler had been a normal, healthy boy up until January this year, when he began being violently sick and suffering from severe headaches. An MRI scan revealed a brain tumour, and despite surgery and chemotherapy, the cancer returned a short time ago.

Sebastian’s dad Conor sobbed earlier today as he appealed for help in finding a reindeer, a sleigh or a helicopter, an inflatable grotto, and Minions from the little boy’s favourite film Despicable Me to make his son’s last Christmas special.
