Gardai have now arrested a second suspect in connection with a serious assault in Co. Kerry in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The incident happened in the town of Castleisland. Passers by found a man in his 20s lying on the street, with apparent head injuries.
The victim remains in a serious condition in Cork University Hospital today.
