The Irish Mirror reports that a gang of youths wearing balaclavas and armed with sticks rushed into the De La Salle College in south Dublin on Monday afternoon, causing widespread panic and forcing an urgent call for armed Gardai to attend the scene.
It is believed the raiders were looking for a specific pupil, who was either not found or present at the time. The gang had fled by the time the guards arrived.
Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
