Julie Bindel, a leading feminist in the UK has claimed she was attacked by a transwoman after an event at Edinburgh University at which she was the keynote speaker.
The event was a discussion on the future of women’s sex-based rights and after it was finished, she claims she was verbally abused and lunged at by a transwoman who attempted to punch her in the face.
Bindel thanked the University’s security men for protecting her from the violent trans-person and said that she was still considering pressing charges.
In a statement Bindel referred to the transwoman as a man and said that she was aware of what was coming when she saw “the rage on his face.”
Trans activists had protest outside the event earlier as Bindel has been accused of being a “TERF” or a “Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist.”
It took three security men to protect the outspoken feminist from the trans activist who was screaming that she was a “f***** c***, a f****** bitch, and a f****** Terf”
