Security services worldwide put on high alert after death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, as fears of revenge attacks grow

The death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi has been hailed as a great victory against terrorist organization ISIS, but has also sparked great fears of retaliation attacks coordinated by sleeper cells worldwide.

Security agencies have now been put on red alert, and people are advised to be extra vigilant, particularly around large gatherings and inside public transport networks.

American special forces tracked down and cornered Al-Baghdadi inside a safe house in northern Syria on Saturday. The ISIS leader died after detonating an explosive belt. Three children he was using as human shields are also believed to have been killed in the blast.
