Senator calls for radical cull of seagulls after rowdy birds snatch a woman’s mobile phone

The issue of marauding seagulls has been raised once again, with the winged creatures having been branded as “endangering society.”

Senator Ned O’Sullivan last year called for a similar action, after taking issue with some particularly menacing Dublin seagulls that were “terrorising” the population.

Today, Senator Denis O’Donovan has once again called for an executive action on the birds.

According to him, the seagulls have become “a nuisance and a pest.” He claims that they are “invading” towns and villages.

This latest call for an uprising against the winged pirates comes after a Clonsilla woman had her phone plucked away by one of the creatures. The flying menace took it in its beak and dropped it in the middle of a pond with great disregard for technology and human life.

This is reportedly just the beginning of the seagull onslaught against mobile phone users, and mankind at large, so watch the skies.
