U.S Republican Senator for the State of South Carolina, Lindsey Graham, has announced that he has tested positive for Covid-19 despite being fully vaccinated against the Chinese virus for some time.
The leading Senate conservative tested positive for the virus on Monday when he first sought medical attention after having flu like symptoms since Saturday.
“I feel like I have a sinus infection and at present time I have mild symptoms,” 66-year-old Graham tweeted before announcing that he will be quarantining for 10 days.
There have been increasing reports of people who are fully vaccinating against Covid-19 testing positive for the virus and in some regions such as Gibraltar, which has an extremely high vaccination rate, has reported that the majority of new cases are among fully vaccinated.
