A garda association carried out a survey saying that almost half of its members say that they’re stressed from being harassed for doing their job.
They say that they’ve received major abuse online, including family members.
Garda addresses have appeared on social media and also their private vehicle registration have appeared online too.
The survey said that it appears to right across the board and that there’s no direct sector of society who are carrying out this harassment.
Drew Harris wants gardai to be allowed wear body cams as soon as possible.
