Met Eireann have upgraded the current Status Yellow warning to an Status Orange due to the approach of Storm Clodagh this evening.
The mighty weather system will hit Ireland hard throughout the night and on Sunday morning, bringing gusts of wind of up to 130 km/h with it.
The storm will sweep eastwards across the country tomorrow, likely causing disruption to air and road travel. Motorists are advised to be extra careful while driving in extreme conditions.
