A couple desperately trying to conceive a baby were left shocked after doctors informed them they were having sexual intercourse the wrong way.
According to The Guiyang Evening Post, the couple who were deeply frustrated by their efforts were left stunned after doctors found out that they were only having anal sex instead of regular intercourse.
It is understood the couple from Bijie city in China’s south-western Guizhou district only found out after they decided to visit an obstetrician to ask why they couldn’t conceive.
The bizare story which involved a 26-year-old man and 24-year-old woman was made all the more confusing for doctors after the woman complained that having sexual intercourse with her husband was extremely painfully.
However following a gynecological examination doctors were shocked to discover that the woman was technically still a virgin.
Completely bemused by the situation, doctors then discovered that the couple were having sex wrong after a consultation and an anal examination.
Following the diagnosis the obstetrician over the case provided the couple with a sexual education book before sending them home.
It is understood the couple were under pressure to have a family from relatives, but became increasingly frustrated after they couldn’t conceive after four years of trying.
However thankfully following the right advice proved to be successful as the couple became pregnant within months of the original diagnosis.
