The wretched state of the Irish health service is once again laid bare in figures, after it emerged that almost 11,000 people have been on hospital waiting lists for over a year.
A shocking 2,507 out of these have been waiting longer than two years.
Our hapless Minister for Health Simon Harris has accepted that the waiting times are ‘unacceptably long.’
