Shannon Airport is now operating normally again after it was forced to close for a time due to an emergency landing.
Flight CLX-94K, a Boeing 747-400(ER) model operating on behalf of Cargolux, landed at the facility after its crew suspected a fire on board.
It is understood that the fire alarm had been triggered by a malfunction.
The incident caused a number of flights to be delayed and diverted.
