Her time is running out.
Many believe Helen McEntee is only in the role as Minister for Justice because she’s a woman, not because of her ability to actually do the job.
Well, the government may have one less woman in Cabinet in the very near future because endless amounts of people are calling for McEntee to step down after an Algerian migrant stabbed a small child on her way home from school on Thursday afternoon.
McEntee is obsessed with pushing through so-called hate speech laws, of which many believe is “thought control”.
Rather than being obsessed with thought-control, McEntee could actually care about the safety of Irish children making their way home from school but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
In any other country in the world, McEntee, Garda Commissioner Drew Harris and indeed Leo Varadkar would all have to step down following the migrant stabbing the Irish child yesterday and the aftermath protests and riots that happened as a result of people’s anger overflowing onto the streets.
It’s time for McEntee to go, her time is up.
