Gardai investigating the death of Anastasia Kriegel say that they hope DNA profiles taken from items at the scene where her body was discovered will help them identify her killer.
The 14-yr-old who was tragically found dead on Thursday at an abandoned farmhouse on the Clonee Road in Lucan, is thought to have been the victim of a violent assault.
Officers investigating the say they have recovered a number of items including bricks and sticks from the scene and they are currently being examined by forensic investigators.
Gardaí say they are currently pursuing over 300 lines of enquiry.
However locals are claiming that a 13-yr-old boy living in the area is now believed to be under suspicion by the gardai but that no arrests will be made until at least tomorrow morning.
