Shocking: EU’s plot to force Ireland to rerun Lisbon referendum in 2008 has been leaked

Amidst the chaos of Brexit, the EU’s secret plot to force Ireland to vote again on the Lisbon Treaty has been leaked.

After France and Holland rejected the EU Constitution, Brussels redrew the document and dubbed it the “Lisbon Treaty” despite the fact that it contained 96% of the original constitution.

Ireland being only country that put the treaty to a popular vote rejected the power grab by the elite of the bloc sending shockwaves through the EU as the treaty could not be implemented without unanimous approval of the member states.

In the shocking leaked document titled “The Solution to the Irish Problem”, obtained by media organisations, French officials wrote how Brussels should have pushed Ireland into re-running its referendum, opening the way for the treaty to come into force the following year the UK express reported.

The EU’s unelected ruling elite would offer Ireland “promises and declarations” on issues such as neutrality, tax and abortion but these would merely be hot air to force the country into running the vote again.

The document predicts Ireland’s weak and Europhilic leadership would submit to the EU’s demands and disregard their people’s democratic decision.

They were of course, correct and Ireland gave the “correct” answer in an October 2009 re-run of the referendum.
