Gardaí in Co Limerick have confirmed this evening that an ambulance and a car have collided on the N21 Limerick Tralee Road.
It is understood the horrific collision happened at approximately 4.20pm this afternoon. Garda sources say incident involved a Civil Defence Ambulance and a car.
A spokesperson all said a number of people have been injured. The extent of their injuries are not yet known.
