Gardaí have seized drugs in two separate operations in Dublin with an estimated street value of over €1m.
Gardaí from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau yesterday raided two cars on the N2 in the Finglas area, resulting in the seizure of what is suspected to be a cannabis herb with an estimated value of €300,000.
Two men, both in their 40s, were arrested at the scene and are currently being detained at Finglas Garda Station.
In a second, unrelated operation, gardaí also conducted a planned raid of a premises in Irishtown yesterday afternoon, resulting in the seizure of heroin, cocaine and cannabis herb with an estimated value of €880,000, pending further analysis.
A man and a woman, both aged 29, were arrested.
They are being held at Irishtown Garda Station.
