Paris is reeling after leftist thugs and allied radicals went on a rampage to mark the communist May Day celebrations and yesterday.

In what is being described as the worst violence Paris has seen since the May 1968 riots masked wannabe revolutionaries attacked police and petrol bombed shops and cars in central Paris along the Seine, a popular area with tourists.

Riot police fired stun grenades and tear gas in an effort to disperse the rioters as they chanted “Everyone detests the police” France 24 reported.

The official May Day rally organised by Labour Unions was severely disrupted by the rioting.

Authorities were aware that a leftist extremists known as “Black Bloc” who are an affiliate of the alt-left hate group Antifa, were planning violence and had marked Tuesday as “Revolution Day” but were surprised by the scale and ferocity of violence.

Over 200 rioters were arrested after police eventually managed to retake control.
