Shocking: Photos released of 89-year-old victim of horrific robbery

89-year-old woman, Eva Sutton suffered a punctered lung, broken ribs and a broken nose after she lay victim to a vicious attack and burglary.

Two men broke into the woman’s home on the Dublin Road, Bray, Co Wicklow and tied her up at around 5am on Thursday morning. The elderly woman was then brutally beaten. Ms Sutton attempted to call for help by pressing a panic button attached to a necklace, but the vicious thugs ripped the alarm from her neck.

Ms. Sutton managed to make her way out onto the street to find help. Someone called the Emergency services and Ms Sutton was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital, where she is currently being treated for her horrific injuries.

Detectives from Bray Garda Station are investigating the incident and have not yet made any arrests. However, there are two suspects being sought after. One is a man in his early 20s from the Bray area, who has several previous convictions for burglary and theft and the other is a man aged in his early 30s, from the Ballybrack area.
