Tragically Joanne Lee’s disappearance ended on Thursday after gardai discovered her body.
After a huge social media campaign to help locate 38-yr-old Joanne Lee, yesterday afternoon gardai discovered her body wrapped in a sleeping bag in the wardrobe of a house in south Dublin.
The woman’s body was in the wardrobe in a house on Ranelagh Road and found around 4:15pm and a post mortem has revealed that she was strangled.
It’s understood that her car was parked outside the house and that someone spotted the numberplate and informed the gardai.
The smashed the front door down and gained access to the property. A man is said to have jumped from the third floor and is in hospital with severe injuries.
It’s believed gardai think that same man is the estranged husband of Joanne Lee and that he was the person who strangled her.
