Shotgun used in Co. Donegal attack




Gardai are investigating a shooting in Co. Donegal.

The incident took place at Church Hill in Millford, at around 10:30am on Saturday morning.

A 42-year-old man received gunshot wounds to his face and body, and was taken to Letterkenny hospital before being transferred to University Hospital, Galway. A shotgun was reportedly used during the attack, which is said to have been sparked because of a row over land in the locality.

Gardaí say the man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been made at this point.
