In yet another major win for U.S President Donald Trump the EU has agreed to concede to many the White House’s demands and to stave off a trade war with the United States, The Daily Wire reports.
President Trump had met with EU Commission President Jean Claude Junker to discuss trade on Wednesday.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the EU agreed to reduce trade barriers for U.S goods and increase natural gas and soy bean imports from the United States.
The stock markets soared in reaction to this in particular U.S and German car stocks after the EU said it would reduce the 10% tariffs it has on U.S car imports and the like hood of U.S tariffs on EU cars receded, CNBC reported.
The former UKIP leader Nigel Farage tweeted in relation to President Trump’s success saying, “If only we had a proper leader like Donald Trump taking on the EU, not Theresa the appeaser”, The UK’s Telegraph reports.
