A sick paedophile who was convicted for his part in leading one the UK’s worst ever child grooming gang is recieving treatment after he was attacked in prison.
According to The Sun newspaper, the man Ahdel Ali, who was jailed for 18 years after being found guilty of running a sexual grooming gang in Telford, was attacked HMP Wakefield prison on October 21st.
The Sun say Ali, who targeted girls as young as 13 was left needing over 40 stitches after he was attacked by a fellow inmate who had a makeshift knife.
It his believed that Ali was injured after he became involved in a dispute with a fellow inmate who slashed him from his neck to his shoulder.
The incident has now led to an investigation which is being handled by both police and the British prison service.
