Police in the UK have arrested two people after two homeless people were set on fire as they slept in South London.
According to The Daily Mailnewspaper, a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl have been arrested in connection with the incidents which occurred in the early hours of Monday morning.
It is understood the two homeless people required treatment from the London Ambulance Service after they and their belongings were set on fire as they slept.
Police say the individuals were targeted whilst they slept on George Street and Surrey Street, in Croydon, South London.
The Daily Mail say the arrested make was charged with attempted GBH with intent and arson with intent.
Meanwhile the teenage girl was released on bail until July.
