Vodafone have confirmed that they have resolved an issue that saw a number of its customers effected earlier today.
In an announcement made in the past hour, the company said that they have resolved the issue which caused issues to mobile and fixed services.
The announcement comes after a high number of customers in Ireland experienced problems with their phone coverage, 4G network and Internet service.
It has also been reported that a number of users across Europe were effected by technical faults this afternoon.
In a tweet Vodafone Ireland said: “Vodafone Ireland has identified the cause of an issue that affected some mobile data and broadband services today.”
“This issue has now been fully resolved. We thank you for your patience and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
