Sinn Fein is this evening calling for the immediate removal of Phil Hogan from his post in the wake of the now-infamous Clifden golf party.
The embattled EU Commissioner is facing multiple calls for his resignation after attending a golf party with 80 other people in a Clifden hotel last week, blatantly flouting Covid-19 guidelines.
To add insult to injury, Mr. Hogan was caught talking on his phone while driving through Co. Kildare, a county that remains in lockdown due to a high number of coronavirus cases.
