Sinn Fein say that they are open to holding talks with all parties

Sinn Féin say they are open to forming a Government with other parties.

The party’s comments come as leaders from Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the Green Party are expected to hold further talks later today.

Speaking about the possibility of Sinn Féin entering Government, Cork South Central TD, Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire, told RTÉ’s The Week in Politics programme that his party are still will to engage with all parties.

Ó Laoghaire said that although his party would prefer to form a government with smaller parties, they are open to holding talks with the Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil.

However any talks must be held on the basis that would see a policy of change being implemented.

Ó Laoghaire added that Sinn Féin would like to be part of a fairer Government.
