Those waiting for discount ciggies will have to wait a bit longer, as Revenue officials have seized nearly 8m cigarettes in Wexford.
The haul had arrived in Dublin Port from Vietnam via Rotterdam last Friday, in a container marked “Garden Furniture”.
The cigarettes would have had a street value of about €4.2m, posing a potentially significant loss for the Exchequer.
