Two Lithuanian men who arrived on a flight from Tenerife earlier today aroused the suspicions of Revenue officers at Cork Airport.
They were searched, and 14,000 cigarettes were found in their luggage.
The cigarettes would have had a retail value of more than €7,500, representing a potential loss to the exchequer of €4,500.
The men will appear in court tomorrow.
