Some areas of the country could see snowfall as temperatures are expected to plunge.
According to Met Eireann, Ireland will yet again experience a cold snap with low temperatures expected.
The National forecaster say it will be a cold week with temperatures expected to range between 6 and 12C during the day, whilst temperatures overnight will drop to sub-zero temperatures in many places.
They also say some light snowfall is expected on higher ground particularly in Ulster and the North of the country.
