Social media goes crazy after Irish dad goes missing for a day only to be spotted at the Ireland vs Bosnia and Herzegovina match

If you haven’t heard by now the Irish soccer team had a pretty decent result in Bosnia and Herzegovina last night drawing 1-1 which left everyone relatively pleased, although one fan in particular will have a lot of explaining to do later today after when he returns home from Zenica.

The fan caused a bit of a stir on social media recently as his son, William Murphy posted a message on Twitter saying he was wondering where his Dad had gone after not seeing him for the entire day, after a number of hours the man only known as Mr Murphy appeared on nine o’clock news on RTE amongst the Irish fans in Bosnia. After spotting his dad the young man William took to Twitter again to post the snap of his father in Zenica with the caption ‘My dad was missing for a day we found him on the 9 o clock news in Bosnia #coybig’

The whole story has since gone viral with many commenting and sharing the remarkable story about the man’s sneaky disappearance. I wonder will he appear at the return leg on Monday night!
