Social Media users have reacted positively to Fine Gael’s Maria Bailey dropping her case against the Dean hotel over falling from an indoor swing.
Some have said online that it’s “proper order” and that she should “never have taken the case in the first place”.
It’s understood that Fine Gael TD Maria Bailey is withdrawing her claim against a Dublin hotel over an incident that happened in 2015.
It’s understood that the 43-yr-old Dun Laoghaire TD hurt her hip and back from the fall in July 2015.
Social media users have been posting that rumours circulated that Bailey was saying that the swing was unsupervised, with many stating that she was an adult and should have known the risks to a swing never mind being on one in the first place.
Other social media users claimed that Bailey was seen jogging around her constituency after the incident occurred.
It’s understood tonight that Bailey is withdrawing her claim against the Dean Hotel.
