Some Irish households will receive a €125 Fuel Allowance lump sum soon, it has emerged today.
According to the Government, about 390,000 people currently receiving the Fuel Allowance will receive the payment during the first week of March.
Also, around 2m households will see a reduction in their electricity bills of about €200.
