Soon to be former President of the United States Donald Trump has left the White House for the last time, ahead of the inauguration of his successor.
Trump departed the White House along with his wife Melania onboard Marine Force 1 at around 8.15am local time. The helicopter landed at Joint Base Andrews a short time later, where Trump took to the pulpit to give a short, self-serving speech mostly devoid of any truth.
Trump is now on his way to Florida, where he’s expected to take up residence in the Mar-a-Lago resort he owns. Local residents have already voiced their concern and opposition to having Trump anywhere near them however, and have pointed out the fact that he signed an agreement decades ago to never use Mar-a-Lago as a permanent residence.
