South Korean film Parasite scores big on Oscar night, taking home four awards and making history as first Korean film to win an Oscar, and first foreign language film to win Best Film Oscar




It was an Oscar night where history was made, as the first-ever foreign-language film won the top award.

South Korean film Parasite, directed by Bong Joon-ho, won Oscars for best film, best international original screenplay, best international feature film, and best director.

Parasite deals with themes of capitalism, greed, and class discrimination in society.

The film is also the first-ever Korean movie to win an Oscar.
