SpaceX’s Crew Dragon pod docks successfully with the ISS

SpaceX’s Crew Dragon post has docked successfully with the International Space Station (ISS).

The pod was propelled into orbit by SpaceX’s Dragon rocket yesterday with two American astronauts on board. Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken, who will now spend between one and four months at the ISS.

This is the first time that a manned space mission lifts off from the US since the space shuttle’s last mission almost a decade ago.
