A Spanish beach will remain closed until further notice due to a shark sighting.
Playa del Portet beach in Teulada, near Fuengirola on the Costa Blanca area of eastern Spain, has been closed since the animal was spotted swimming near the shore on Saturday.
Local authorities will now try to ascertain the type of shark, and whether or not the beach can be reopened.
Shark sightings are relatively common in the Spanish coast.
