Staggering figures show over 520,000 people are awaiting out-patient appointments in Ireland

In what can only be described as horrifically high and out-of-control figures, Leo Varadkar and Simon Harris are overseeing more than 520,000 people awaiting necessary out-patient appointments across Ireland.

The official figures released show that 523,000 people are on out-patient hospital waiting lists.

This grim figure include over 46,000 children.

In total, about 11% of the total population in the country are waiting for an appointment.
