A Status Orange warning is in place for five counties due to heavy rainfall.
The warning, which covers counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, and Waterford, will remain in effect until 9pm tonight.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience heavy rain, which might lead to localized flooding.
