A Status Yellow thunderstorm warning is in place for four counties amidst unseasonably warm temperatures.
The warning, which covers counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, and Wicklow, will remain in place until 9pm.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience localized thunderstorms, which may lead to spot flooding.
