A Status Yellow warning for heavy rain is in place for two counties as miserable conditions continue to blight the country.
The warning, which is in effect for counties Louth and Meath, will expire at 9pm.
According to Met Eireann, heavy and persistent rain continues to fall across many areas around Ireland, likely leading to more flooding events.
