A Status Yellow warning for heavy rainfall is now in effect for 10 counties across Ireland.
The warning, which covers all of Connacht, Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry, and Limerick, will remain in place until 6am on Saturday.
Met Eireann says that heavy and persistent rain may lead to localized flooding, so it’s urgent motorists to be extra cautious on the roads for the next 48 hours.
