A Status Yellow weather warning is in effect for 19 counties due to severe weather conditions.
The warning, which covers the whole of Leinster plus counties Cavan, Monaghan, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford, and Leitrim, will remain in effect until 9pm.
According to Met Eireann, many areas around these counties will experience heavy rain and localized thunderstorms.
