Status Yellow wind and rain warnings gets issued for 19 counties




Met Éireann has issued multiple Status Yellow warnings affecting 19 counties across today and tomorrow, reports RTE.

The warnings have been issued for all coastal counties on the island, as well as Kilkenny, Carlow, Tyrone, and Armagh.

One yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Kerry, Cork, Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, and Wicklow. It came into effect from 10 am this morning and will run until 1 pm tomorrow, reports RTE.

Another wind warning has been issued for Donegal, Mayo, Galway, and Sligo. It came into effect at 2 pm today and will remain in place until 8 pm. The forecaster has warned that gusts of up to 100km/h may occur during this period, causing difficult travel conditions.

Another wind warning for Clare, Cork, Kerry, and Limerick is in place until 4 pm today.

Dublin, Wexford, Wicklow, and Waterford are also on a wind warning until 9 pm tonight, reports RTE.
