Storm Atiyah update: Seven weather warnings now in place as weather system ravages coastal areas across the country

There are now seven weather warnings in place as Storm Atiyah batters the country with strong winds and outbreaks of heavy rain.

The weather system brings winds of 60-80km/h and gusts upwards of 130 km/h.

A Red weather warning will kick in nationwide at 4pm and remain in place until 7pm.
